Red Giant Software…

If you’re involved in any form of post-production, work or your a director/filmmaker who is looking to enhance the production value of your next film; then you should most definately check out Red Giant Software. Red Giant are one of the leading providers of plug-ins and software for post production. Their product line ranges from colour correction tools to fully featured compositing and effects software that has been used in hundreds, if not thousands, of feature films, TV shows and commercials. Some of the Red Giant software was developed by John Knoll who helped create Photoshop and is a VFX superviser at ILM; which gives you an idea of the level of quality we’re talking about here!

I’ll be honest, like the majority of plug-ins for post-production, some of their software isn’t cheap… but when it comes to value they just can’t be beaten! The majority of their software will work in both FCP and After Effects, with some of them having the option of working as stand-alone products.
